This section of the website is run by the American representatives of the theatrical canon’s most underappreciated eccentric yet traditional playwright, Hott Lettis.

Professor Lettis lives deep in the woods and he does not leave his home. Don’t worry, he is in good health and well taken care of. He has enlisted our help — that’s us, Alison Vincitore & Milo O’Connell — as gorgeous and annoying women of the New York City theatre scene to help bring his groundbreaking English-language work to American stages, further enshrining him as one of the greats.

​Hott Lettis Productions Limited Liability Company is the production company of the playwriting duo Hott Lettis. As a collaboration, Hott Lettis allows playwrights Alison Vincitore & Milo O’Connell the freedom to write in a way we never could or would individually. Their work is focused on fun, pure silliness, and absurdity, often has a satirical angle, and never loses heart or an emotional, socially motivated core.

Hott Lettis is also an opportunity for two analyzers of media and culture to dig into their observations. Made up of one transgender woman and one cisgender woman, much of Hott Lettis’ work often examines concepts and portrayals of womanhood, femininity, and the trappings of misogyny.

Hott Lettis invites artists to embrace imperfection in the pursuit of art-making. Sharing an artistic product that is intentionally unpolished gives their collaborators the freedom to play, release their creative inhibitions, and try anything. True childlike creation, both with the goal of making something exceptional and having fun, a space where you are free to like things that may seem silly without any embarrassment or pretense, to just create and collaborate and let your imagination run, is the ultimate goal.
